Hooking up the EVO IV

Your Evo IV is doing up the way which is made of more acceleration. Sounds ok to me as I also wanna do it that way to. As for the wing, I will have the GT wing. thanks WRX and Lonely. for that forum, i've been there and i've read about that post. and for Lonely, thought you might wanna know. well. i've start hooking the Evo IV. and i'm glad to say the direction it's going is pretty positive.. i can feel the speed. it's faster in acceleration and it got speed too. i've done finishing first half of the step which is completing Tune A. and i've switch to Tune B now. just change the muffler to the Bozz Speed twin muffler. i'm now waiting for the rear wing and the 6 spoke Enkei tires. you think i'll be able to do a 2:56 or 2:57 on myogi (easy ) when it's fully tune with 990000 points ?

oh yeah.. the tune's fast and stuff but i notice it got no top speed.... it max was like 202.... so you guys think that kind of tuning give you speed and acceleration but less max speed ? or is it because it's not fully tune yet ?

2'56 - 2'57 should not be a problem on myogi when your Evo IV is fully tuned. damn...don't tell me they are doing every turn at 200+...... that's mad fast yo... anyway.... lonely.. is there any chance for me to get the MONSTER and EMPEROR stickers back aftedr i change option ?

As for the MONSTER and EMPEROR stickers, I have not experiment that before but chances is hard to get them back. I know this might sounds insane but then dun look down on the stickers. They really do makes a very small difference in pickup speed. Tested and proven by experts. -
yeah.. i've noticed that too... that's why i wanted them back when i lost them after changing tunes....

yeah....thought you might wanna know... i manage to do a 199 for the grand hairpin yesterday... and the car's not even fully tune yet... i definitely believe that EVO's got alot of potential in them. i totally believe it have the ability to do a 200 or more.

well. WRX. if you're in New York, which is where i am. i'll definitely let you try out my EVO IV.
but if you're in Singapore.... erm... i guess chances are we wouldn't be able to battle. -

FYI. just wanna let you guys know how my new EVO's progressing.. i've completed my Tune A and switched to Tune B. changed the muffler and the rims. currently waiting for rear spoilerand 680000+points gained.i've tried my ride on time attack yesterday and i'm glad to say, i'm pretty satisfied with the progress... i feel it has much faster acceleration than my previous EVO IV which has 3000000+ points. and i even broke the record for some of my previous EVO. i've broke myogi and usui's record. i think i'll be able to break akagi, akina and irohazaka soon... but still, i need more practice... having a fast car without skills is consider having the car keys to a ferrari but know how to start it.. lol.. i'll let you guys know on the timings soon.

Actually being able to do such a high speed turn doesn't really depend on the points. For a 4WD, the grand hairpin can be taken at 2 speeds. Yeah this is quite tough to get. Not always successful myself either. First you need to enter the hairpin from the outer lane. You need to tap the brake very gently and the small point in time that you tap the brake is also the time you have to steer the wheel. Do not fully lock it, just a little bit before full lock. And this is the tricky part, you need to counter steer slowly when you are about halfway in the hairpin. Also after steering, lightly step on the accelerator and maintain it while in the turn. This works for a 4WD though. I saw one guy using an RX and what he did was a double tap on the brake and then steer. He got 200-202. -
Oh yeah you can only get above 200 for the uphill hairpin. Too much momentum on the downhill hairpin causes you to crash into the mountain if you go higher than 199.

WRX, thanks for the tip. i'll definitely try that out, guess that takes lotsa practice to get a turn with that speed...it's really complicated too. so much to do, so little time...anyway, i was challenging this dude yesterday, he was using a levin 85 sr.... and he's mad fast yo..... i don't know how he do it but he kicked my arse on akina man.. and irrohazaka too. oh yeah... anyone could advice me on EVO's shift points? right now, how i do it is 6000 --->7000 --->7200 --->7200. i don't think i'm doing it right cause the DC2 was faster than me on pick up...is that suppose to happen?

yo wayyyyy cool... so hows NY? fun? oh so how come u're there man? and oh, the DC2 is faster because in the game, they've purposely made the car "god". not very fair, and easy to win in without fairly good skills.

yeah i noticed that DC2's a freaking cheap car for Version 2. thank god it's gonna be more normal in Version 3. why am i in NY? i live in NY well.. NY's alrite. pretty boring if you ask me...
might be the fact that i've tried most of the fun places yeah Heng@... right now i've switched my EVO IV from tune A to B, but i want the stickers back... so should i tune it back to tune A ? but that would make me wait for the parts again right? do you think it's wise to tune it back to A just for the sake of the stickers and lose a front bumper? -

yeap.. it's got way faster collision recovery than other cars...

merry christmas guys. you i need advice man.... which front bumper do you think is better? the tune A's stock front bumper or the Tune B's bumper ?
