You didn't exactly specify what advice. So the basic thing is to just play a bit more to get the feel of your car. Try to get a feel of how your vehicle moves during a sharp or gradual turn. No point in speeding as fast as you can if you do not know how to play the tracks. Simply drive slowly (depress your accelerator about halfway) through the whole track to familiarise yourself with the layout. Once you get more confident, go faster. Also you can try looking at how others play. If you're not confident about the story mode, try the time attack first so you'll at least still get points for finishing the track in time. If the com beat you in story mode, you only get 1000. If you can, get a friend to challenge as practice as it is cheaper. Loser pays only and winner gets an extra game. Good luck though it might start to get expensive.
How come your nick is subaru and you're driving a car by Mazda?

From 0 to 120k points is your course modifications to your external body. There are a few different courses to choose from for the different cars. From 135k to 990k points is your internal engine modifications. Also sometimes you may get an option to exchange certain parts of your external body after a race. This is based on the program's assessment of your performance for that race. This is not really an accurate assessment. For all you know, you may want to play bumper cars for 1 race but the program cannot recognise this and will offer you a part change. But you do need to pay with points if you decide to accept the part change. -
