It is just a collector's item. you can use a normal memory card to play.

PS 2 memory card $35 dollars... the game i buy liao...abit boring is that the gearing must use L1 and R1...got abt 5 new course and some new cars too... BTW the game only allows the GT-Force wheel only(i think cause got the option)

Erm...how should i start...ok here it goes there is the normal arcade mode where u need to beat the 6 standard stages.The cars are the same and no special tune everything is almost the same. Except the time attack mode...now the PS2 version there is no time limited which means there is no time but the time taken will still be there... and the 4 course track DUN need to minus points and also Irohazaka uphill is already unlock...got some new course to try on eg (Real Myogi and Real Usui and 3 more) u can buy AS MANY cars we want if provided your memory card got space...lol...now got 1 STORY mode which goes like the comic...first start from Akina and we can only use the Trueno 86 and in this mode we can unlock some new song and the car defination...there is a mode where they introduce the cars defination BUT is in Japanese -_-"..the rest is about the same...lol...we can play unlimited play as if u dun feel quite happy we can restart the race...there is also the replay mode where we can see how "GOOD" we have done and its COOL !!! But the thing i am not very please is the gearing system
very hard to control sometimes and will have to take a long time to master... But its worth to buy as u spend $10 u can train on all maps buy many cars then when u have enough $$$ u can go buy the GT-FORCE wheel... Thats all... Hope u all enjoy -

got a "copy version" of the game...
will try it out tonight on my gamepad to see what all the fuss about this game is...
oh, the dude who sold me the copy game, said it's available everywhere... so, unless you mind, don't blow all your cash on the original version thinking they don't have the copy version... goodness knows how much was spent in the arcades already... -

Hi all...that day i came across a webby page, its says that mostly of the GT-Force wheel will work but it is recommanded to use the latest GT-Force wheel as it is made specially for the game.The web also says the GT-Force company makes new version of wheel for some new racing game so if u use the older version on this Initial D SS maybe will have some minor problem...i also found that the GT-Force wheel dun have gear to pull

I've got the game already and my Evo Vii now has 470k !
A few things that i don't like about this game is the Sound Effects of this game, the engine sound and the Skidding sounds very fake. The steering is very sensitive if you use the gamepad. And there's no level for this game and im not sure whether you can challenge another player or not. But overall, i think this game is good. I give it a 8/10. -

seebei SHOIK! sorry i never be posting been playing initial d...new maps cars players challenge etc....apart like what anson said the sounds and skidding sounds but talking abt against the computer AI and the new maps everything is COOL and DC2 is not that Fast anymore...right now i using Rx7 Spirit & Trueno...

It is known that the ID GT-Force steering wheel is compatible with ID and GT3... The wheel can turn about ninety degrees to left and right. so far i try and work with idss, kaidou battle and auto modelista. havent got gt3 but suppose it would work...
