For me i down from 5 to 4 n brake abit early... then while turning reales the pedal for awhile.... so tat the speed wun drop too much... entering the first hairpin at abt 130+ is very normal... i see alot ppl can do it... no prob at all...Originally posted by I_luv_initial_d:ic.. for the first hairpin downhill, do u break early before entering or break hard upon entering, i hv some problems with this part, I see pros enter at a 130 to 140 speed, I only get a 120 while some banging.![]()
I play Id for abt 4 mths... gt about 700k pts for my FD...gonna try akina in time attack again tml..Originally posted by I_luv_initial_d:sorri la. I mean 3.05 typo error. ryosuke FC. u play how long already? how much pts?
thx manOriginally posted by Dark Conviction:The FD can hit very respectable times on Akina. You cannot turn using the FF method or a DC2 method since the FD Rx7 is FR and has a different turning radius.
I do a 2:56 using the FD Spirit and the method i use to 'conquer' the turns is by 'rocking' the car towards the outside of a turn and then using the rebound of grip to throw the car into the normal cornering direction.
Eg: Approaching a right turn
1) I keep extreme right
2) About 3-4 car lengths i make a dive to the left
3) Shift down, slight brake, release accl
4) Once i am 3/4 into the left, i then turn right attacking the right corner. (i turn slightly right , then when i get my car pointing in the apex of the corner, i make a full right into the turn).
Not easy putting down in words but i hope this helps.![]()
