hey all....i posted this on another thread but i'm just gonna post it here again just in case you guys don't get to read the other post....
for all those trueno AE86 drivers out there, i just need your opinions...
wat do you guys think of the car? is it a good car to drive? good acceleration? top speed? turning? and also when does the trueno get it's new engine in which you have to change gears at 11k rpm?
i was thinking about starting one but before that i just need some opinions....thanks -
That car is pretty difficult to handle. I got a card for that car. I think the car will be a very fast car if u can manage to get the 12k rpm tachometer for tune A modification. Saw a guy using that car. Superb speed!

hi guys... i love trueno 86 cos it's particular the only car that i'm really using... my car have a 12kpm liao.. it's very fast once it change into the 12kpm rpm meter. it's a car that can drift well if you know how to control and i love using it on akina cos .. at first half i'll lose to a lot of opponents that uses FC FD and EVO provided they are not using bug card.. and i hate pple using bug card and challenge and it's kinda demoralising when they kept on blocking you if you overtake.. that's worse .. can't they be more professional?

Yeah...... I hate Unprofessional Drivers....... I also use an 86... learning ho to use it on Akina... so far, finished my basic tunes and completed Akagi and Akina... as well as the four from the last track... Hehe....

Nah i dun drive an 86 but i tried my friend's 86. hi, i have 2 ae86. 1 bug, 1 normal. i think it's quite a drifty car. have 2 get use 2 it. if not, dat's it i tell u. u'll think it's uncontrollerable.
dun worry too much abt pple in bug cars. it doesn't mean their skill is fantastic. some bug car drivers actually suck. eg, my bug ae86 isn't particularlly fast on irohazaka. lose to bug dc2 (400m).
well, have to admit. my driving isn't fantastic. may b able to win Bunta. but human players r a different story.
i've seen REALLY gd drivers. their cars isn't heavily mod yet, but i wouldn't wanna race wif em. no chance of winning.

hi guys i too love ae86!!today plaed against another 86 for 6 rounds at p.s.so much fun though i lost 5 stages...somehow i realise my 86 pick up and acclerate better than his though mine is very much new car,while his was tuned...hmmm why?i beat him cos i chose uphill..then while reaching the finsh pt,i blocked his way cos he's goin past me.is that unfair??

Same i own an 86, Tune a:
But 4 me it's the opposite leh... Acceleration at lower gears kinda suck... But it handles like a dream... in fact it's more balanced than my kopi car as it does not have massive oversteer... handles well in the wets too... -
BTW anyone here owns an tureno which is not tune A here? I'd like 2 know the diff. between tune a and the rest

not very easy to use this part cause the part totally different from part A (Takumi's) even though this part got the 12k metre or wat so ever i strongly encourage ppl to use PART A cause its easier to use and handle...Luckily for me, the COE is up...LOL ...finally can change to part A -

Part c? No offense but i kinda dislike it cos got rear wing.... dun suit the car... the body kit also... i only like the carbon fiber hood... Each different Tune got it's own characteristics. Those who is not used to it will then say it's not good, it's not nice etc.Originally posted by AE86tofu:Part c? In my opinions, although I agree that this Tune C Trueno is abit slow compared to the other Tune of Truenos, but this Tune C Trueno is the most stable compared to the rest cos of the GT Wing at the back and the sideskirts. Makes turning corner very smooth. If the driver knows how to make full use of this car, for sure this Tune C Trueno can be very fast also compared to others.

U sure? Cos according to the TRD website it has power steering.... Only some types of the AE85 do not have it....

it depends whether got power steering or dun have. my ae86 is 1986 ae86 levin. cars during that period does not really ahve power steering lor.

Currently (re)driving my AE86 due to a unfortunate incident whereby i lost my precious AE86 card... being using it since Initial D ver 1... Now i've to start all over again.

Re-tuning from scratch somemore... except the tacometer still remains... wahahahha.
You wait. I will change my Trueno to Tune A then see how's the results. hiak hiak.
