about trueno 86's 4th gear

hi guys i wana ask whether anyone knows why sometime my 86's 4th gear will stay at the speed of 100km/h and there's no way i can make it go high... anyone??

perhaps u should try to mantain at gear 3 till 105km/h and then shift it to gear 4..... Did u up the gear very early like when your car is in 80km/h?

i up the gear when my rpm went to 11k rpm then i change....
funny... esp in stage 6 it's stuck there.. -
Hello...not really sure about the situation. But I can say that if you follow what Ryousuke_FC3S advice and change gear 4 at 105km/h, wait until the 11rpm which is abt 153-155km/h and change to gear 5.
My guess is that you missed the 11rpm mark to change to gear 5, which is why your speed keep reducing.

I just finished doing the basic tunes on my 86... and once you change the engine, it's completely different to control... esp in the tachometer... For gears 4 and 5, you have to wait until the needle goes past 11k rpm before shifting up, otherwise, your speed will drop instead... I guess that's about 120km/h?

hey peeps...for all those trueno AE86 drivers out there, i just need your opinions...
wat do you guys think of the car? is it a good car to drive? good acceleration? top speed? turning? and also when does the trueno get it's new engine in which you have to change gears at 11k rpm?
i was thinking about starting one but before that i just need some opinions....thanks -
