step gas until full rev..Originally posted by coldzero:only basic tune with Tune A got misfiring system right? how to do it?
what do u mean by turbo lag? how does it affect its performance?Originally posted by HaYasHiBaRa:Hahaha. For your info, the Lancer Evo III in the game is a GSR version. Not the RS one.
Misfiring is there to address the turbo lag when you release the throttle. I think people are getting this car for the wrong reasons.
....lets take for example when you enter the corner.... your boost pressure goes down as u slack off the gas pedal.... but when u exit the corner... you naturally step on the gas again...tis is when turbo lag occurs as the boost pressure is slow in revvin up.... hence turbo lag is a term used to describe the turbocharger's slow rev up... turbo lag also contribute to a slight slowdown in acc as said earlier as the turbo is slow in revvin up...so the fuel/air mixture produced in your car's engine is pumped into the combustion proccess at a slower rate....hence lower acc lor.....but it's juz for a slight while so don worry to muchOriginally posted by coldzero:what do u mean by turbo lag? how does it affect its performance?
its an antilag systemOriginally posted by HaYasHiBaRa:Hahaha. For your info, the Lancer Evo III in the game is a GSR version. Not the RS one.

but as long as u r in the right gear at the right engine speed, turbo lag wont be a problem...Originally posted by Lance_han:....lets take for example when you enter the corner.... your boost pressure goes down as u slack off the gas pedal.... but when u exit the corner... you naturally step on the gas again...tis is when turbo lag occurs as the boost pressure is slow in revvin up.... hence turbo lag is a term used to describe the turbocharger's slow rev up... turbo lag also contribute to a slight slowdown in acc as said earlier as the turbo is slow in revvin up...so the fuel/air mixture produced in your car's engine is pumped into the combustion proccess at a slower rate....hence lower acc lor.....but it's juz for a slight while so don worry to much
