Sent him a postcard a week ago... hopefully he will receive it...
Most of the time he's on at the usual slot... i think he seldom open the line anymore... i tried calling in but can't get through...

Well, just want to let everybody know Jieqi has been on air on Sundays instead of Saturdays for the past couple of weeks. So... take note! -

Anyway, Jieqi was on air on Sat 15 Dec from 4 - 8pm He wasn't feeling well but went on. As usual, his show was super. He didn't mention when he'll be on air next weekend but this is what I usually do, in pseudocode:
If (Sat and time is 12 noon) then tune in to 933. If (Jieqi is hosting), carry on listening. If (Jieqi is not hosting), switch on on radio at 4 pm. If (Jieqi is hosting), carry on listening.
Repeat for Sunday regardless of whether Jieqi was on air the day before.
*** You can bet your last dollar I will be doing this on this coming Saturday.

I caught Jieqi on Saturday (15/12/2001) too. I heard Zhiyong at noon, so I tried my luck at 4pm. Hope jieqi is better now.

For those Jieqi fans out there, take note...
For the weekend of 22/23 Dec, Jieqi was on air on Sun 23 Dec and NOT Sat 22 Dec. Who knows what might happen this weekend.?
Wished he has some means to let us know when he will be on air. Maybe he can help by posting here? (It would be better if he can be on air for BOTH Saturday and Sunday.)
I have recently converted a person who shares the same lab to listen to Jieqi. You guys should try listening to Jieqi on a SUNDAY afternoon in lab while doing your project. -

Jieqi was on air on Sat 29 Dec 2001. A listener wrote in and recommended him to read a book entitled "Tuesday With Morrie". Okay... this is one book I think everybody should read; in fact, MUST read.
Sherv: Not sure if you tuned in but I think Jieqi mentioned that he received a letter from you. What's the address to send if I want to write a snail mail to him? How should I address it?
Personally, I would like to drop him an email.... But well, never mind. -
Aiyah! Went out on Sunday afternoon. By the time I got to my lab, I have misseed 2 hours of Jieqi program. *gosh* But well, at least I get the to listen to the 'best' one hour from 6-7 pm and after that, it is the live hour.
Really hope that Jieqi is seeing all these. He REALLY makes a lot of difference to my weekends. Its almost like an addiction! -

On Sunday 30 Dec 2001, towardes the end of his session, Jieqi mentioned that he will be on air on Sat 5 Jan 2001 from 4-8 pm.
You can guess what I will be doing at that time..... -

On last Saturday's program, I heard Jieqi mention that he will be on air this Saturday 26 Jan 2002 from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Don't know why... but these days, his song selection not as 'shiok' as before. Don't really hear Wan Fang these days. Haven't really heard him read any fantastic passages from those books he read. Maybe the problem is on my part.... Well, what the heck, I will still support him and you can guess what I will be doing this Saturday afternoon.
Last but not least, I miss listening to Shino's <<Xin Dong>> (Jieqi's Special Edition) at 6++ pm, with the sunset in the background. (You know, NUS has got really nice sunsets. Especially from the engine side...) -

There is this version of Shino's <<Xing Dong>> where they added in excerpts of dialogues from the movie at different parts of the song.
A friend was telling me this version is a special one where only Jieqi will play. Legend has it that in the 933 CD library, this special edition even has a note saying that Jieqi is the only one who can air it or something like that. Well, this is hearsay but I have certainly heard Jieqi air the special edition of <<Xing Dong>> some time ago. Maybe you can write in and ask him to play it? Preferably after 6+ pm...
As for engine sunset, I won't call the place romantic lah... Just a good position to look at sunset. In fact, there are two. If you are interested, just contact me and I can show you the place.

I just want to let you know that Mary's time slot around lunch time is really great. Take note! Not as sart as Jieqi's but good enough. But Mary's sweet voice will make it all up.
Wonder what time slot Mary will be taking after Feb 18 when "the strong wind blows"... -

Oh wow... another 25 mins and Jieqi will be in action! Always look forward to this time of the week. The fact is, my FYP is in the gutters and things aren't looking bright. Jieqi's session always serve as a brief respite before I return to the madness of mundane life.
I am from NUS-Engine, final year liao... don't have that many sunsets over NUS left. -

Just now, Jieqi allowed people to call in so as to give Jieqi the questions to ask Zhou Jielun during the interview later but people who managed to call in asked for dedication... and Jieqi had to close the hotline. I had some questions in mind for Zhou Jielun but couldn't get through. *sigh*

Nope... I am not from Civil. I am from Electrical and Computer Engineering. At last, the FYP is over. But I still need to be in the lab on Saturday for other projects.
I heard on last Saturday that Jieqi and Wu Qingkang were from the same school. I heard Qingkang was from The Chinese High School.
Anybody has any idea which schools Jieqi was from? My guess is The Chinese High School --> Hwa Chong JC --> NUS. -

Bet most of us are having exams now. In any case, good luck! I have always found the idea of listening to Jieqi while doing past year papers or revising more enjoyable than if I do not.
Maybe Jieqi can also play some student-exam related songs... not that many of them though... -
