Thanks for the thought Ott! Sherv has put in some effort arranging the outing so it may not be worthwhile to change the date just becos tinker can't make it. The fact is, most of the time, I give outings a miss, not that I am avoiding anyone but becos my schedule is pretty tight.....
And one of the greatest joys in life for me, is to sit in front of the radio and listen to good music. That explains the birth of this thread.

By the way, Jieqi will be on air on Sunday... not sure of the timing... He won't be around next weekend... said it on sat evening program. -

Wah... this forum is so quiet eh?
Just want to share with you what I feel about last Sunday's program by Jieqi.
I haven't had a chance to really sit down and listen to Jieqi for an uninterrupted hour for ages! And wala! Sunday was the perfect opportunity!
I just sat there in front of the fan, tune in to 933, with a glass of water in my hand.... and it felt good... It felt better than almost everything I knew. It is like ren2 shen1 fu1 fu4 he2 qiu2. I remember sitting there, indulging in Shino's Xin Dong, Lin Yilian's Hai Shi Bu Yao Shuo Bao Qian, etc and of course, Rene's Tou Ming and an excerpt from her book.

Just to let those who are interested know....
Jieqi will be back only in the last week of June.... -

The thing is, he does need a break lah. And who knows, he might come back an even better DJ than before! (Not that he wasn't good...)
The thing about artistes (or DJs) for that matter is that once they get a breath of fresh air, they usually come back with a fresh perspective and some other new inspirations. Let's hope the same thing happens here.... -
Just asking... is Jieqi back? Is yes, then when? He wasn't on sunday evening, and i missed saturday.

I remember he mentioned that he will be back only during the "end of the month" (yue wei) so I guess it will be this Saturday, 20 Jun 2001.

Yeah... this thread getting quiet... then again, i was rather busy... Only managed to catch jieqi on sat 30/6. Didn't know he was on air on sunday too. Anyway, my FM receiver's earphone spoilt, therefore can't catch him when i'm out. Have to get a new pair soon... -

Been quiet for a while.... nowadays, I am trapped in school on Saturday afternoons. *sigh* Had difficulty tuning in to 933. Anyway, haven't really heard Jieqi for a while. Is he still on air from 4-8 pm on Sat's? Any changes?
